Those who have been with me for a while know that more than anything I believe wholeheartedly in Seasonal Attunements.
What does this mean? It means that energetically there is a huge change as we move in and out of seasons…for instance…Solstice is tomorrow…it is the deepest part of night, the most profound time of our yin energy. It’s a time to slow down and breathe. It’s a time to dive into inner reflection. It’s a time for meditation and stillness.
I mean…what are the bears doing? I know…I sorta wish I could sleep for the winter too…but if we can’t do that…we CAN give ourselves a needed boost and allow our energies to be more aligned with the energy of the season. That feeling of rushing and hurrying and not getting enough done is left over from the unbalanced energies of the summer moving into fall. It’s time to bring yourself into the here and now!
Each season I have a new treatment that is specially formulated for the current energies. This transition is one of my favorites. It’s when I allow myself the joy of slowing down, without the mind trip that I’m not getting enough done. This treatment is about grounding our body to the earth, and opening our crown up to the divine for the beginning of inspiration.
